Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes became the 1 funded Kickstarter video game of 2020 thanks to phenomenal support from the community. It got me excited to learn more about Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Houses.Įiyuden Chronicle: Rising is out now (May 10, 2022) on consoles and PC.īe on the lookout for more news on Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Get ready to lead 100+ playable characters through a war-torn world only you can save. Overall, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising did do it’s job for me. You can even spend much of your time in the Quarry and Great Forest, fighting creature, or you can visit different areas in town and acquire new items and upgrades. There’s a lot to do in this short game though, and lots of people to meet in New Nevaeh. This was a relatively short experience, and I still have some more if I want to continue. I will say that we are still a long ways out from the release of the main game, so you can even hold off until we get closer or until we see more information if you’re still not sure about it. If you’re excited about Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes coming next year, then I strongly suggest you play through Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. It even works great as background music as I write out this post. The music is always relaxing in the town of New Nevaeh. It sort of has both an older retro look and a fresh new game quality. I really enjoy this 2.5D character and world design. At some point I learned how to handle multiple quests at once, finding items for different quests in the same area made it easier to turn in many quests together. In the beginning, I was working on one quest at a time. Fast Travel was a big time saver, since the quests had you going from area to area. The town of New Nevaeh is actually pretty large. However, most hints could be found in the quest menu afterward. I did learn later on that certain quests had little hints within character dialogue. It would help if they had recorded some voice over for the character dialogue. Many of these side quests didn’t give me any useful information, so I began to skip the dialogue. I started my quest listening to what each character had to say. I have also heard that there may be some transferable items or achievements for completing Rising before Hundred Heroes. If so, it will be nice to come back and see some familiar faces. A town full of merchants, supplies and good food. In other news, it’s going to be a while before we hear more about Kingdom Hearts 4, and Sega says no to NFTs for now.I can see the town of New Nevaeh as a stopping point within the next game, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. We’re pumped to play Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising and get a taste of what the creative minds behind Suikoden have in store for us. It’s been 16 years since the last Suikoden game was released, and nothing has come close to scratching the itch of recruiting a huge cast of characters. You can name certain weapons and food items in Rising and rediscover them while playing Hundred Heroes. You’ll receive special cosmetic items, trade goods, and equipment, but the coolest part is the effect you can have on the world. Those who play Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will reap some exclusive rewards when Hundred Heroes launches next year. Prepare for Hundred Heroes’ intricate plot and globe-spanning adventure by playing through the inciting events in Rising.” “Within the Runebarrows hides a deep-rooted conspiracy with shocking ramifications for the Eiyuden Chronicle universe. The story will also tie into the larger world as indicated by this PR quote: They’ll also explore the newly uncovered Runebarrows, which contains both treasure and dangers that might threaten the town’s future. It centers around three characters, CJ, Isha, and Garoo, and their efforts to rebuild a town after an earthquake. Unlike Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, which will be a JRPG in the vein of Suikoden, Rising is a side-scrolling action RPG. It’ll launch worldwide on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Switch for $14.99. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising’s release date is May 10, 2022. ![]()
